A record number of people attended Ag in Motion, a fast-growing outdoor farm show for Western Canada organized by Glacier FarmMedia.
The show took place in Langham, Saskatchewan, earlier this month and attracted 25,787 attendees – more than double the number that attended the inaugural show in 2015. The number of exhibitors continues to grow quickly, too. This year the show welcomed 409 exhibitors, compared to 302 last year and 200 in 2015.
“The number of attendees this year is unprecedented – the growth the show has seen in just three years is inspiring, and speaks to the interest so many farmers in Western Canada have in seeing new technology in action,” said show director Rob O’Connor.
“We are beyond thrilled with attendance and the feedback we’ve received from farmers and exhibitors. The support from exhibitors and sponsors has helped Ag in Motion to become a staple farm show and demonstration event for farmers in Western Canada. Our team sincerely thanks the companies who have contributed to this year’s success.”
The excitement for 2018 is already building, as planning for next year’s show begins.
“Our planning team has already begun discussions regarding next year’s demonstration program,” added O’Connor. “And we will continue to improve the site. We aren’t done making infrastructure improvements.”
Next year’s event will be held July 17-19, 2018. For more information, visit www.aginmotion.ca.
